تم تعيين السيد هاميش كاول سفيرا لصاحبة الجلالة لدى الجمهورية اللبنانية، خلفا للدكتور إيان كولارد OBE الذي سينتقل إلى منصب آخر في الخدمة الدبلوماسية. سيتولى السيد كاول مهامه الديبلوماسية خلال تموز 2022.
السفير كاول متأهل وله ثلاثة أولاد.
وكان السفير كاول قد عيّن سابقا سفيرا للمملكة المتحدة في سلطنة عمان بين 2017-2021 وفي جمهورية تونس من العام 2017-2013

Mr Hamish Cowell CMG has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Lebanese Republic, in succession to Dr Ian Collard OBE who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Cowell will take up his appointment during July 2022.
